Vivi Varela, formerly known as Abstemious, has been a DJ since 2003 (when she was DJing on vinyl). In 2006 Vivi was a DJ for the group Artifício and shared the stage with big names like MC Akrobatik (Boston), DJ Jayceeoh (LA), Jeru The Damaja, Yara Bravo, DJ Primo. Later in 2016 DJ Vivi started one of the first parties specializing in current raps, the Bataklan party, which gave the hook to “ICG”, Versátil. DJ Viva Varela creates sets of different musical genres from her references based on hip-hop, adapting to the energy of different events.
