Munira Ahmed

Munira is a native New Yorker who's likeness is most easily identifiable as the "Face of the Resistance" — as subject of the We the People art series created by Amplifier and artist Shepard Fairey, derived from Ridwan Adhami's I Am America photograph.

She is a long-time social justice advocate with bylines as an op-ed columnist, public speaker, photodocumentarian, solo traveler, human rights case interpreter, and most recently has joined the team of Matter Unlimited as Partnerships Manager.

sayer of truth. purveyor of youth.
lover of love in its realest forms;
not here to impress,
but to share visuals of happiness.
