Justking Jones is the new, young face of jazz. This rising star logically fuses a sincere respect for traditional jazz with African rhythms in a form that reaches all audiences. His style of music is all-encompassing, advocating unity — notwithstanding race, gender or religion. A multi-talented artist who plays the saxophone, flute, and clarinet, Justking is also an educator, producer, composer, and arranger. This versatile artist’s unforgettable sound has taken him to NYC, LA, and Europe for tours and performances with Mos Def, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Talib Kweli, Theo Croker and Winard Harper. While internationally touring, Justking has taken part in several festivals, including Fest De Fado in France, Jazz Cats Festival in Belgium, Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen in Germany, and Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival in the U.S.
